OnsiteWorking with Research & Technology Engineers developing new technologies and processes used to advance our manufacturing techniques for producing nacelle structures, such as fan cowls, inlets, and thrust reversers.
The Engineers and Technicians you will be working with are a team of innovators and inventors at the forefront of developing and advancing our company’s capabilities. You will be a part of the team leading the implementation of thermoplastic composites into aerospace structures, and advancing our thermoset composite technologies and product portfolios. This role is onsite, in Riverside, California.
What You Will Do:
- You will complete critical project tasks alongside Engineers and Technicians.
- You will support the fabrication of composite test panels for development and qualification testing.
- You will provide ideas and technical input into process and technology development.
- You will present updates and statuses of task and technology progression.
What You Will Learn:
- You will learn composite fabrication techniques and practices for aerospace structures.
- You will learn project management skills.
- You will gain Manufacturing and Technology readiness experience.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with carbon composite fabrication.
- Proficient knowledge using Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with CATIA.
