JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Cell and Biological Systems, Laboratory of Dr. Edward Harhaj, in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Research Technologist. The laboratory focuses on host-virus interactions and understanding the regulation of innate immune signaling pathways by autophagy. The successful candidate will maintain knockout and transgenic mouse colonies, conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments and also oversee day-to-day operations in the lab. An applicant with a BS in Biology or related field with experience in cell culture, molecular and cell biology and immunological techniques is encouraged to apply. Experience in mouse handling and genotyping is highly desired. Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team are required. The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$42,100.00 - $61,000.00
