Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Collects and maintains data and/or specimens.
- Analyzes data.
- Maintains equipment and supplies.
- Responsibilities may also include the following non-laboratory duties: assisting with developing or amending study protocols; assisting with developing data collection tools; assisting with building databases; and providing general administrative support.
- Responsibilities may include the following laboratory duties: setting up and performing experiments; interacting with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator.
- Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project.
- Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens. Conducts literature reviews. Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
- Performs other related work as needed.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the research being conducted.
Experience:
- Relevant research experience.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
- Knowledge in relevant scientific field.
- Knowledge of research techniques or methods relevant to the lab (e.g. Microscope imaging, image and data analyses, which includes writing/modifying computer scripts, maintaining the computer network environment and trouble-shooting hardware/software problems).
