Salary/Position Classification
- $14 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 10-15 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND undergraduate students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducting laboratory work
- Performing a variety of tasks to support engineering analyses, report production, and designs
- Preparing basic calculations
- Collecting, organizing, and evaluating data
- Completing literature reviews
- Analyzing systems utilizing computer modeling
Minimum Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Successful completion of criminal history records check

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in field work, research, data analysis, or literature reviews
- Currently taking or have taken courses in sciences or engineering.
