POSITION SUMMARY
This is a Part -time position.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret information from invoices and packing lists to develop clear, complete and precise records.
• Communicate with key stakeholders on the status of incoming and outgoing samples.
• Generate purchase orders for samples and follow up on their delivery and receipt
• Create shipping invoices and/or packing lists for outbound shipments
• Complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Catalog the receiving of samples in various databases.
• Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to sample ordering/receipt/inventory adjustments
• Physically build and ship orders
• Maintain sample reserve inventory for hard-to-source items
• Record supplier approvals in JDE and setup vendor information
• Various tasks and/or assignments given by the Sourcing Supervisor at any given time.
The general duties listed above are those regularly performed under normal business conditions. Occasionally departmental requirements will warrant the assignment of additional duties which may not be listed above but are expected to be performed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Check automotive samples for proper appearance, quantity, numbering
• Excellent attention to detail and good documentation practices.
• Proficient in MS Office. Proficiency with JDE is preferred.
• Fluency in the English language and good mathematical skills are required.
• Must be a self-starter and require minimal supervision.
• Effective teamwork, interpersonal skills.
• Technical aptitude for quality related job requirements.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet daily and monthly goals.
