At Truven, we’re not just working with healthcare data, we’re changing how the industry uses it to improve lives. Truven is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reporting Specialist to join our Analytics, Research and Solutioning Cross-Functional team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about leveraging data to improve healthcare outcomes. You will work with clinical, operational, and financial data to support decision-making and deliver insights across our client portfolio.

How you will contribute: 

• Perform data analyses and create dashboards and visualizations using our proprietary tools and databases as well as other solutions such as Microsoft Excel, Python, and other analytic platforms. 

• Assist in preparing clear, concise reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders. 

• Using claims data and other benefits-related information, support senior analysts and consultants in identifying trends and patterns, as well as opportunities to reduce costs or improve the quality of care. 

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA. 

• Investigate and resolve data issues. 

• Provide user support to system users at our customers and consulting partners. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional client teams including data management, clinical experts, and product support to deliver high-quality analytics solutions. 

 

About You 

 

What you will bring: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Health Informatics, Public Health, Statistics, Business Management or a related discipline.
