Rep-Physician Referrals

Position Overview

• Department: UAB STV Occ Health Clinic
• Schedule: 8-5 M-F
• Work Location:   Birmingham, AL

What You Will Do

Develop and coordinate a referring presence across facilities.

• Facilitate relationships with referring physicians. Identify any issues regarding referring physicians' access to the organization's facilities and work to promote resolution.
• Promote the organization's medical specialists and/or services to referring physicians within the applicable service area for enhanced relationship development.
• Educate referring physicians regarding new and existing organizational initiatives.
• Facilitate continuing medical education opportunities for referring physicians.

What You Will Need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
