We are seeking a dynamic Distributor Key Accounts Manager, to help us grow and nurture strategic distributor relationships and champion our portfolio of premium products in wireless tattoo machines and body jewelry.
What You’ll Do:
As a Key Accounts Manager, you will be the frontline ambassador for our distributor network. You’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening partnerships, driving sales growth, and leading the operational efficiency of our key account support teams.
About the Role:
The Distributor Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and growing key distributor accounts, ensuring a strong partnership between the company and its distributors. This role involves strategic planning, relationship management, sales growth initiatives, and overseeing the work of Sales Assistants to ensure the successful execution of day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This position helps the Company to increase sales and address customer needs within a specific region. Their responsibilities include presenting Company products and services to potential clients, identifying specific consumer characteristics and recommending ways to promote and sell Company products. To be successful in this role, the Key Accounts Manager should have excellent communication abilities and be highly motivated to meet sales goals. This role is mission-critical to driving revenue growth, expanding our distributor network, and cementing Body Art Alliance’s reputation as the industry leader in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers
- Identify business opportunities and challenges
- Report on sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually)
- Present our products and services to prospective customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to meet individual and group sales quotas
- Answer customer questions about features, pricing, and additional services
- Cross-sell products, when appropriate
- Collaborate with account managers from different territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach
- Attend trade shows to promote products and network with potential customers
- Travel to visit key accounts and prospect new business
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to Sales Assistants, ensuring they effectively support key account operations.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to Sales Assistants, ensuring timely execution of administrative duties such as order processing, inventory tracking, and sales reporting.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for Sales Assistants to improve their skills and effectiveness.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll Bring:
- 3–5+ years in key account, sales, or relationship management (B2B/B2C)
- Proven success managing and growing large accounts
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing support staff
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing abilities
- Ability to analyze customer needs and propose tailored product solutions
