Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Reliability Engineer to improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of our systems, equipment, and processes. In this role, you will collaborate across teams to identify and mitigate risks, implement preventative measures, and ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of engineering principles, and experience with reliability tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Reliability Analysis:
- Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), fault tree analysis (FTA), and root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve system vulnerabilities.
- Perform reliability predictions and modeling using tools like Weibull analysis and reliability block diagrams (RBD).
Preventative Maintenance:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment uptime and performance.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance and operational data to optimize maintenance schedules.
System and Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to implement reliability-enhancing measures.
- Provide recommendations to improve product designs, manufacturing processes, and operational procedures.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks in systems and processes and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including quality management system and industry-specific regulations.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Use statistical tools to analyze reliability data and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on reliability metrics and project outcomes for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). A master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in reliability tools and software (e.g., ReliaSoft, Minitab, MATLAB).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, AS 9100, ISO 9001).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) from ASQ or equivalent.
- Maintenance or asset management certifications (e.g., CMRP, CMRT).
