Registration Assistant (Hourly)Job Description Summary:
Assist students with registration, payment, and ACC resources for a successful semester. Support the operations team at the ACCelerator front desk by checking students in, checking out equipment, and booking study rooms.Job Description:
Description of Duties and Tasks
- Assist students with registration.
- Help students navigate with the Self-service application.
- Guide students on how to enroll for payment plans or make payments.
- Show them how to search and filter for courses.
- Provide accurate ACC resources to help them find what they need.
- Warmly greet and check students in the ACCelerator.
- Check out ACCelerator equipment, book study rooms, and clean as needed.
- Perform office duties to support staff and student efforts, including data entry, emails, and group chat communication.
- Maintain tracking systems and logs.
- Operate office equipment such as copiers and fax machines.
Knowledge
- Familiar with Self-Service - Registration
- Familiar with ACC website
- Strong Customer Service techniques

- Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Maintaining an established work schedule.
- Effectively using interpersonal and communication skills.

- Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software
Required Work Experience
- Strong Customer Service
- Familiar with ACC Website and registration process
Physical Requirements
- Work is routinely performed in a standard office or similar environment.
- Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.
Safety
- Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.
Pay Rate
$23.00/hour
