Registered Principal Delegate

This is a part-time role where you will work with a Franchise Registered Principal and share in the responsibility for the sales and suitability of an advisors’ entire book of business.

You will partner with the Franchise Registered Principal to ensure there is an in-depth understanding of each advisor’s practice within the Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ).

Candidates should expect to work around 15-20hrs per week in a supervisory role.  If the candidate is presently a financial advisor with an existing client base, it is possible for the candidate to continue to serve as an associate financial advisor with Ameriprise in addition to their responsibilities as a Registered Principal Delegate.  If the candidate isn’t presently a financial advisor but would like to become one in addition to their supervisory responsibilities, this will also be considered.   

Location:

• Candidate would ideally work in the Southpoint office in Jacksonville, FL.

• Remote work will be considered based on experience, but any remote candidate must be located in Northeast FL, Central FL, or Southeast GA. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5 years minimum relevant work experience OR 7 years of relevant work experience.

• Series 7, Series 24 and Series 65/66

• Resident State Insurance Licenses (Life) may be required, can obtain post hire

• 5 to 7 years' relevant experience in financial services industry.

• Strong knowledge of financial services industry.

• Strong ability to leverage available resources and independently problem-solve. 

• Strong knowledge of broker-dealer regulatory issues.

• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound and impartial judgment in addressing issues with individuals they supervise.

• Strong oral and written communication skills demonstrated conflict management, and ability to lead up.

• Outstanding organizational skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to achieve results in an independent environment, aptitude with technology, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Training and delivery experience; demonstrated advanced analysis and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with standard applications (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct supervisory experience of financial services

• Understanding of Ameriprise Financial products, compliance policies, and procedures.

Compensation:

• The estimated hourly rate is $40-44/hr based on experience. 

• The candidate would also be eligible for a health insurance stipend equal to 50% of validated individual monthly health insurance premiums with a max stipend of $275/m.

• Health club stipend of up to $30/m with evidence of membership and usage.
