Schedule Details/Additional Information:

3 (8) hour scheduled shifts per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Start times will rotate between 0645-0900. Position requires occasional Saturdays and call.

Pay Range

$38.20 - $57.30

Registered Nurse (RN) -Digestive Health(Endoscopy)

Chicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood) 

Part time; 24 hours a week; 3-8 hour shifts per week (M,W,F);

Call required 3-4 shifts a month as well as occasional Saturday

Where You Will Work:

More than 44,000 people a year come to Illinois Masonic for emergency care. AIMMC is a Level I Trauma Center which includes a trauma bay in addition to general emergency and behavioral health emergency designated beds. RNs are required to become verified as a Trauma Nurse by attending a Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC). AIMMC’s Emergency Department serves as the lead agency in pre hospital disaster preparedness for the City of Chicago.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferably in critical care , telemetry
• GI experience a plus

What You’ll Do:

You will be responsible for providing nursing care to inpatient and outpatient population requiring GI procedures by preparing and assessing preoperatively through recovering postop in a team environment. Over 10,000 procedures annually with Five GI Procedure Rooms operational.
