Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Melrose Center team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
Provides and manages direct nursing care to patients. Autonomously and in collaboration with The Registered Nurse at the Melrose Institute provides and manages direct nursing care to patients. Autonomously and in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team, provides assessment, planning, implementation, intervention, and evaluation skills. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be to coordinate and supervise patient care delegated to Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and other assistive personnel.
Work Schedule:
on-call, D/E, EOW
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a school of registered nursing.
- AD/Diploma required.
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
- Strong human relations skills
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year experience in an acute care or mental health/behavioral unit desired.
