We are a full-spectrum Acuity Adaptable unit, providing med/surg through ICU level care. This unit manages 15-beds while providing care for a variety of patient populations with a focus on Oncology and Cardio patients. Our services align with our strategic mission to deliver comprehensive, high quality cardiac and cancer services to the South-Central Region. This unit features a strategic education plan to train the novice to expert Registered Nurse to accommodate this model of care. 

Shift: FT/Nights; This position requires 1-on-call-shift every 6-week schedule. 

Nursing skills gained on this unit: 

  • Obtain ONC, and Chemotherapy certifications 

  • Develop time management skills

  • Understanding how to balance nurse to patient ratios while providing excellent patient care
