Elayn Hunt Correctional Center is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse 3 to join our dedicated healthcare team. Examples of duties
Two years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A bachelor's degree in nursing plus one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A master's degree in nursing or public health plus one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A doctorate in nursing or public health.

Job Duties:
- Provides advanced professional nursing careΒ to offenders, including comprehensive assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and ongoing evaluation of patient conditions in accordance with established nursing standards.
- Serves as a clinical leader within the nursing team, guiding and supporting LPNs, RN staff, and other healthcare personnel, ensuring proper delegation of tasks and adherence to facility protocols.
- Responds to medical emergencies and urgent situations, performing triage, initiating appropriate interventions, and coordinating care with physicians and other medical staff.
