The Regional Transportation Manager is responsible for the operation of the CTS Regional Fleet, ensuring that deliveries for internal and external customers are planned and delivered in a timely, accident/injury-free, and cost-effective manner. The Regional Transportation Manager position requires an individual capable of functioning effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Regional Transportation Manager spends a large percentage of time managing logistics functions. The Regional Transportation Manager plays an active role in motivating performance of their direct reports and is responsible for fair and consistent implementation of CTS Fleet Safety, Policies and Standards.

This position is also eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation awards based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

• Ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective deliveries for internal and external customers.
• Develop and maintain CTS budget.
• Maintain CTS cost, profits and service goals, reporting progress on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Supervises professionals that manage safety and operations of the fleet.
• Responsible for continually identifying and implementing transportation service and cost improvements.
• Maintain and review LTL carrier performance.
• Manage the quarterly safety meetings and drive employee engagement strategy with CTS.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have an Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or 4 years equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least have an Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
- At least have experience working with OTR/Commercial Truck Drivers
- At least have systems knowledge of PeopleNet, Samsara, AWCS & HR Cloud
