Job Overview

We are recruiting a Regional Manager for the Elko, NV Mining Distribution region.

Key Job Responsibilities

Region of responsibility for Komatsu Mining Equipment Distribution: Nevada:

Financial/Budget (P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet) Responsibility for $160M Sales and Service Organization Komatsu Mining and Construction Region.

Strategic regional business leader for Original Equipment and After Market support.

Responsible for Sales, Operations, Accounting/Financial, Office Administration, Service, Service Engineering, Parts/Warehouse, Safety, Environmental, OPEX, Human Resources, and Quality.

Manage and maintain all facilities and infrastructure.

Evaluate and execute capital spending plans required to support the region.

Customer satisfaction with mining equipment and support performance.

Direct the Komatsu Way: Safety First, Law compliance, Quality of parts and service, Delivery of parts and service on-time, Cost management, Cash management including inventory and receivables.

Qualifications/Requirements

4 year college degree

Engineering degree preferred (mechanical or electrical)

Mining equipment background preferred

2-5 years’ experience with related products and mineral processing, maintenance and operations                                    

Field Service & Field Service project management experience

10+ years manufacturing or service management

Proficient with MS Office, Autocad and use of internet based sales support programs

Ability to diffuse emotionally charged situations

Ability to coordinate customer needs after-hours.

Travel required

MSHA Certified or ability to obtain certification
