In this position, you'll partner with the Regional Director of Operations for the assigned region to deliver HR services as appropriate. Activities include workforce planning, managing employee relations, policy development, implementation and interpretation, employee development, and providing direction and support for our facilities' staffing functions. This role involves high decision-making, initiative, and independent judgment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with operational leaders to execute HR strategies to drive business performance
• Consult and coordinate with all levels of management on all employee relations matters; coach and counsel leaders and team members on policy and performance issues. 
• Works with the site leadership team to establish and promote the One Tosca culture at the local level
• Manages company-wide HR initiatives at the site level, including culture conversations, performance management, talent management, and training & development
• Partners with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and site leadership on strategies and initiatives that support each Service Center's staffing needs
• Applies knowledge of organizational goals, business environment, and functional needs to execute strategies and methods in alignment with enterprise goals and HR policies and practices
• Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements
• Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of HR practices
• Facilitates change and takes the opportunity to recommend improvements to current practices and procedures
• Coordinates and delivers training to management on HR-related activities (e.g., salary planning, harassment, policies, new employee orientation, employee motivation)
• Serves as a trusted advisor and valued business partner to operational business partners, is sought as a partner with HR colleagues, has a reliable and proven track record of empathy and credibility, maintains confidentiality, and acts with integrity
• Evaluates and analyzes data and information from HR reports to determine HR issues impacting the business unit
• Manages one Talent Acquisition Specialist
• Assists managers and employees in resolving employee relations issues
• Drives performance management culture, including management and employee development initiatives

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or Human Resources
• 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources Management role with a broad generalist background working with manufacturing or plant operational partners
• Ability to travel, on average, 50% of the time
• Live near one of Tosca's Service Centers - https://www.toscaltd.com/locations/
• PHR, SHRM-CP certification preferred
• An excellent facilitator who is experienced in conflict resolution
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all team members 
• Capable of using good judgment and discretion in handling HR accountabilities 
• Strong attention to detail and follows through to meet commitments and deadlines
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
