Regional Facilities Manager – South West

Job Summary

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the physical assets, general and major emergency, as well as preventive maintenance repairs, minor construction or rehabilitation, and support capex and insurance related projects for our different properties within their region.

This will include the negotiation of various contracts including but not limiting to service agreements, building, and property management. They will coordinate resources to maximize the successful operations of properties and ensure a proactive growth management to meet our long-term goals.

This position will require 30-40% of travel within assigned region.

Principal Responsibilities

• Overseeing physical property inspections to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of all assets

• Evaluate facilities renovation, expansions, refurbishment and office updates in collaboration with the local facility and maintenance teams

• Handle the evaluation of service providers and contract negotiation for all property maintenance services within assigned region

• Collaborate with local teams to ensure and optimize the allocation of office spaces between facilities according to actual and future needs

• Lead the successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies and procedures within assignments

• Ensure all property life safety systems meet applicable codes and are maintained to regulatory requirements

• Oversee major facilities problems within assigned region

• Report regularly on performance KPI’s and financial results

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional level experience

• 8+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, construction or equivalent related functions

• Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management

• In-depth understanding of building codes and regional regulatory requirements

• Strong experience in procurement and negotiation

• Proven track record of project management capabilities

• Strong communication and problem solving skills
