Regional Database Analyst

Description

The Database Analyst will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting on data to help drive informed business decisions and optimize operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL, SSIS, Excel, and SSRS skills and will play a crucial role in supporting our Slot department, finance, F&B, and marketing teams.

Data Management and Analysis:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Perform data analysis to support the Slot department, finance, and marketing teams.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Reporting:

• Develop and generate comprehensive reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Create ad-hoc and scheduled reports to meet the needs of various departments.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data reporting.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Slot department, Finance, F&B, HR, Marketing teams, and General Managers to understand their data needs and provide insights.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems.

Data Quality and Integrity:

• Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support and training to end-users on data-related tools and systems.
• Assist in the development and implementation of database policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, SSIS, and SSRS, Excel, Macros;.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of casino operations and gaming systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the gaming industry.
