We're excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we are looking for a Receptionist to join our growing team in Sebring, FL!

The Receptionist's primary responsibilities involve answering all incoming calls as well as greeting all walk‐in visitors in a professional manner. They will also perform administrative and clerical functions to our Personal Lines division working in personal lines insurance.

General Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming calls.  

  • Greet all walk‐in visitors in a professional manner.  

  • Responsible for receiving, date stamping, and distributing all mail to office personnel.

  • Order office supplies.  Verify check amounts and mail out checks weekly.

  • Log, process, and send overnight mail.

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the personal lines and commercial lines departments.  

  • Backup processing functions including processing new policies, renewals, endorsements, etc. as needed.  

  • Provide backup for invoicing premium transactions, following agency procedures and guidelines as needed.

  • Provide backup for processing confirmed cancellations in the electronic file and process reinstatements as needed. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Quality Control – demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality

  • Adaptability – adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events

  • Computer literacy – knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.  

  • Understanding of commercial lines underwriting and coverages  

  • Strong communication skills  Strong team member who proactively assists all other members of this team.

  • Ability to maintain a professional manner at all times

  • Advanced time management and organization skills
