About the role
Transwest is seeking an experienced receptionist in Brighton, CO. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a professional, customer service oriented attitude and exhibit a friendly, poised demeanor through first line of contact with the public and our employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer and direct incoming office calls to the appropriate person.
- Greet customers and visitors as they come in the office.
- Open and distribute USPS and FedEx mail to various departments in the office.
- Prepare out-going mail and FedEx.
- Support the Sales Department with assorted administrative tasks.
- Create cash accounts to support the Accounting Department.
- Support Marketing in the mailing of the company newsletter.
- Maintain accurate records including, but not limited to company phone lists and forklift service sheets.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
- Requires frequent sitting for prolonged periods of time in an office setting.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
- Normal range of hearing and vision.
- Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in the automotive, mortgage, or banking fields is a plus.
- Extremely strong customer service oriented presence.
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively with both customers and fellow co-workers.
- Strong organizational, time management work ethic is a must.
- Positive attitude and multitasking skills.
- A detail oriented, accurate, and concise
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
- Highly skilled in the use of computers with a Windows operating system.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Prior experience using Adobe Acrobat preferred.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to pick up on new software systems quickly.
JOB DETAILS:
- Type: Hourly
- Compensation Range: $20.00 to $22.00
- Bonus Eligibility: No
- Reports To: Executive
- Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
