About this role
The Receiving Data Clerk oversees and coordinates the daily data input activities in our Charlotte manufacturing plant. The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for ensuring all data collection is efficient and accurate. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office and other data collection tools. Project management skills will assist the Data Entry Clerk in managing multiple projects at one time. The Data Entry Clerk may need to quickly shift from one project to another, and the ability to maintain accuracy is important.
The Receiving Data Clerk will be responsible for maintaining communication with our internal customers to update information, depending on the role. The ability to clearly and efficiently communicate and retrieve important information to update records is required.
This is an onsite 1st shift (6am – 4:30pm) weekdays role with occasional Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure efficient movement of product or material, i.e. receive, store, and ship.
Receive accurate inventory in accordance with the material management procedure.
Prepare or direct correspondence, reports, and operations material movement
Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration with production, purchasing, and 3PL’s for smooth supply chain operations.
Organize and store materials in designated areas.
Inspect for damages or discrepancies and report to supervisor.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of experience or demonstrated proficiency in data entry using a database or computer software with Carrier
1+ years of experience using word processing and spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or bachelor’s
Proven experience as data entry clerk
SAP experience
Fast typing skills: Knowledge of touch-typing system is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
Basic understanding of databases
Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
Great attention to detail
Communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
English written and verbal command
Knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and MS Office
