A Revenue Cycle Project Manager specializing in Collection Effectiveness is responsible for optimizing the financial performance of healthcare organizations by improving the efficiency of the collections process. This role involves analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as TPWO % of Gross Revenue, Gross Days in Accounts Receivable, and Denial Rates to identify areas for improvement. The Project Manager collaborates with various departments to implement strategies that enhance cash flow, reduce outstanding receivables, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Effective communication and data-driven decision-making are crucial for success in this position.
Our Ideal candidate:
- In-depth knowledge of medical billing procedures and healthcare software
- Experience with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as TPWO % of Gross Revenue, Gross Days in Accounts Receivable, and Denial Rates
- Strong analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies

• Bachelors degree preferred. PMP (Project Management Process) certification preferred. Requires project management experience.
• Requires facilitation skills to successfully organize and motivate an inter-disciplinary team to accomplish project goals in a tight timeframe.
• Requires ability to prioritize and process multiple complex projects; deadlines; and processes with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Requires ability to gain knowledge of system departments and affiliate organizations.
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma or other performance improvement methodologies preferred.
• Requires ability to maintain confidential communication and use judgment and discretion.
• Requires strong written, verbal, presentation and customer service skills.
• Requires ability to exercise good judgment within established guidelines, and demonstrate maturity as a visible representative of the organization.
• Requires ability to promote teamwork and build effective relationships.
