Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is currently hiring a flexi/PRN Radiology Assistant, Acute Care.

 

Job Description:   

  • Performs chest, abdominal, extremity, and spine radiological imaging studies of patients within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: operation of equipment, development of films, and preparation of patient room and equipment under direct supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist.

Hours:

  • Flexi/PRN Day Shift

Job Requirements:  

  • Education: Currently enrolled and have completed 2 semesters of formal education that is accredited by the ARRT. Minimum of High School Grad or Equivalent is required.

Job Summary

Performs chest, abdominal, extremity, and spine radiological imaging studies of patients within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: operation of equipment, development of films, and preparation of patient room and equipment under direct supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist.

Currently enrolled and have completed 2 semesters of formal education that is accredited by the ARRT.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
