Position Summary
The R&D Intern will be working with R&D Engineers to construct new electrical and acoustic measurement systems and methods, to perform data/signal acquisition and analysis, and to conduct feasibility studies of promising concepts. 

Responsibilities and Duties
•    Learn engineering equipment such as function generator, hydrophone, impedance analyzer, motor controller and so on, and their applications in measuring acoustic and electrical output. 
•    Develop software tools for signal acquisition & processing.
•    Build engineering prototypes for feasibility studies and characterize their performance.
•    Implement software tools for engineering projects.
 

Requirements 
•    A full-time student with a minimum 2 years in college, pursuing a degree in STEM majors, preferentially in BME, EE and CS.
•    Strong curiosity and analytical thinking; proficiency in Python or Matlab. 
•    Have a good understanding of human anatomy.
•    Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
•    High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Salary range: $20 – $25/Hour (Commensurate with experience, skills, education and training)
 

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
