JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Functions

  1. Daily process audits.
  2. Random valve retests.
  3. Track with Gage Track all devices for calibration.
  4. Perform internal calibrations and send items offsite for calibrations as needed.
  5. Assist with the Test Rack repairs as needed.
  6. Perform failure analysis on all returned material, both OEM and Repair.
  7. Relay detailed findings to the Quality Manager.
  8. Independently assist with training of Repair Technicians I, II, III.
  9. Maintain training records for all persons in respective production cell areas.
  10. Have thorough knowledge of the NYAB IPM as well as Section J – AAR M1003.
  11. Work with Quality Manager as well as shop floor to maintain accurate and up-to-date documents and assist with Document Control Log.
  12. Staying observant at all times with respect to shop floor activities, notifying personnel, supervisors, management (both Plant and Quality) concerning any questionable practices or activities.
  13. Ensure that all written work processes are followed.
  14. Maintain a practical quality focus on all related issues.
  15. Train new quality personnel.
  16. Assist with quality initiative activities and corrective actions.
  17. Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
  18. Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
  19. Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
  20. Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.

Skills and Competencies

  1. Technical Capacity
    • Demonstrate proactive and creative thinking.
    • Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.
    • Knowledge of requirements for calibration, training records and document control.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and root cause both general quality issues as well as all test equipment.
    • Knowledge to assist Quality Manager with all training plans and requirements.
    • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Work, Excel, Powerpoint and b
