Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Production Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the Quality Assurance group located in Everett, WA.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented KC-46 Quality Production Specialist to join our dynamic team dedicated to the KC-46 program. In this role, you will assist in the review and validation of product non-conformances, ensuring compliance with quality procedures and engineering requirements specific to the KC-46 aircraft. You will support the analysis of product quality, operations, and processes, participating in investigations to determine the root causes of nonconformance. With a foundational knowledge of aerospace design and systems integration, you will perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components. Your responsibilities will include gathering data, providing recommendations for problem resolution, and assisting in the development and documentation of corrective and preventive actions. Position Responsibilities:

Level 2

• Assists with review and validation of product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.

•  Supports analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes. Participates in the investigation to determine root cause of nonconformance of plans.

• Ability to apply basic knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.

• Gathers data and provides recommendations/solutions to nonconformance of plans, products or processes.

• Assists with the development, modification and documentation of actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action.

• Assists in obtaining corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes and submits for review.

• Supports concurrence and obtains commitments to support program resolution.

• Participates and observes the validation associated with corrective action to assure nonconformance has been eliminated.

• Verifies internal replication systems adhere to Company and regulatory standards and procedures.

• Creates airplane specific airborne software packages.

• Conducts audits to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements.

• Assists in the creation of reports and coordinates with the parties responsible for internal distribution.

• Works under general supervision.

Level 3

• Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.

• Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations.

• Applies knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.

• Trains and mentors fellow employees in the Quality Management System.

• Performs root cause analysis on the nonconformance to identify the cause and prevent reoccurrence.

• Independently develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and documents resolution.

• Obtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes.

• Negotiates concurrence, obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolution.

• Reviews and validates the corrective action plans and identifies effectivity to ensure completion.

• Reviews and approves Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.

• Guides validation of configuration management, quality procedures and material review policies to deliver the software products.
