Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-On Excellence: In a boots-and-steel-toes environment, you'll be hands-on with all aspects of quality and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with the entire plant, working closely with operations to maintain efficiency and agility.
• Quality Assurance Leadership: Develop, implement, and coordinate quality assurance programs to meet customer needs.
• Continuous Improvement: Ensure quality systems are followed and effective, proactively suggesting and implementing changes as needed.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to various groups and offer customer support at different levels, including direct interaction with customers.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, ideally with a metallurgical background and knowledge of stainless steel or other steel alloys.
• Lean and Six Sigma: Proficiency in lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma techniques.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with various quality tools and techniques.
• Quality Standards: Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP standards.
• Safety Focus: Champion health and safety initiatives within the quality function to ensure employee safety.
