The Loveland Quality Manager is responsible for managing a direct staff to implement, sustain, and exceed ISO 9001 requirements for the Loveland site, drive continuous product and process improvements, and support quality management system efficiencies and expansion.

This position is part of the Quality and Regulatory department located in Loveland, Colorado and will require working on-site to support the direct team and be close to Gemba.

This role will be Onsite 5 days a week at Hach’s headquarter office in beautiful Loveland, Colorado.  https://www.lovgov.org/  

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Managing a team to maintain and improve Loveland site Quality KPI’s for regulatory compliance.

  • Drive product quality improvement of products designed and manufactured at Loveland site.

  • Consult and engage cross-functional teams/departments on regulatory compliance, risk management, and business strategy.

  • Direct internal and external audits, initiate CAPA’s/SCAR’s, non-conformances, and drive process improvements.

  • Support validation efforts of equipment, quality workflows, and overall optimization of business systems including requirements, test plans, and implementation activities.

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering/Science with at least 5 years in design & manufacturing environment.

  • In depth knowledge of Quality Management principles in related regulatory industry (ISO, FDA)

  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, statistical tools, visual management tools, data models)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to manage a diverse team and negotiate progress.

  • Strong technical writing skills to deliver concise executive summaries and develop leadership presentations

  • Results driven mindset to seek problems, identify plans, execute, and sustain goals.
