In this strategic and operational leadership role, you will guide our Quality Assurance and Quality Development teams and collaborate across manufacturing sites to strengthen compliance, support customers and drive continuous improvement.
The role & your impact
As Quality Manager, you will lead quality activities across our sites in Tianjin, Taicang and Shenyang, as well as our Beijing office. You will help ensure that products, services and management systems meet current requirements while preparing for the organization for emerging customer, regulatory and global quality expectations.
The role combines people leadership, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and Quality strategic deployment to sites. You will work with customers, authorities, certification bodies, suppliers and internal stakeholders across Novonesis.
Your key responsibilities in this role
Lead and develop the Quality Assurance teams, ensuring that our systems, products and services meet quality, food safety and feed safety requirements.
Maintain legal and regulatory compliance, including engagement with relevant authorities, and oversee the implementation of global and local quality requirements.
Lead regional internal-audit planning and execution, coordinate external audits and customer audits, and support management reviews across our China sites.
Maintain food and feed safety systems and quality standards, including GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and FAMI-QS, as well as Kosher and Halal compliance and product certification.
Oversee supplier quality, raw-material compliance, complaint handling, preventive actions, relevant SAP QM master-data activities, and site-level quality and food/feed safety training.
Drive cross-functional continuous improvement, support China-related innovation, and provide quality input for due diligence, integration, customer needs and emerging legal or market requirements.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role
A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including team development, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners.
Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, customer expectations, quality management, and food and feed safety requirements.
Extensive expertise in quality management systems, regulatory compliance, certifications and relevant industry standards. <
