Curries (an ASSA ABLOY company) is expanding their Quality Team and is hiring a Quality Inspector. This role will be based out of our manufacturing facility located in Mason City, IA and is for 2nd Shift (2:00 pm to 11:00 pm).

What would you do as our Quality Inspector?
As a Quality Inspector, you will perform dimensional & visual inspections of doors and frames to support production lines and meet established requirements.
You would also:
- Execute nondestructive testing when required.
- Conduct data collection to support line historical data requirements and or machine studies.
- Complete all required documentation and record keeping.
- Utilize electronic systems to support inspections; I-Series, Microsoft Office.
- Assist production in solving product quality problems by leading or helping with any containment actions and identify product to support the rework/remake process.
- Assist Team Leaders to support quality system requirements.
- Support raw material incoming inspection.
- Support calibration system requirements.
- Completes Non-conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Maintain work area and inspection equipment in accordance with 5S practices.
- Participate in problem solving teams as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Continually promote a safe and harmonious working environment, demonstrating strict adherence to the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct and ASSA ABLOY Health & Safety Policy.
The Skills and Experience you need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to use gauging instruments including hardness tester.
- Understand visual standards and customer requirements.
- Ability to work proactively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems is preferred.
- American Society Quality (ASQ) Quality Technician Certification is a plus.
- Door & Frame Manufacturing experience preferred.
