As a Quality Engineer II you will collaborate to achieve objectives across the Air Management Systems’ site ensuring a healthy product quality signature and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

• Provide technical guidance to support and maintain a strong working relationship with the operations team.
• Collaborate on investigations and analyze hardware/assembly concerns causing quality and delivery issues.
• Determine the proper disposition of nonconforming material when participating in Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
• Generate, maintain, and provide quality metrics to the Air Management team and participate in the execution of quality improvement programs
• Establish and maintain quality processes for the different part families related to Air Management Systems.
• Serve as a liaison to internal and external customers for the quality discipline.
• Lead teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience 
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior aerospace quality experience
• Experience communicating metrics and trends to operation teams, management, and leadership
• Preliminary Review Authority
