Position Summary:
As a Quality Coordinator you will be responsible to perform quality audits and quality process development for Nordex’ US suppliers (specifically in relation to the localization of components and parts for Nordex’ US production facilities) or with Nordex’ US Wind Turbine Nacelle and Rotor Blade production facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assigns, coordinates & manages activities between multiple departments at the windfarms, manufacturing facilities & home offices in order to rectify non-conformities discovered during project execution in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Participates in the development, implementation & documentation of root cause corrective actions related to project non-conformities.
- Tracks & organizes all activates & costs associated with non-conformities and work with other departments to obtain applicable cost recovery.
- Creates & maintains reports/dashboards for upper management that summarize non-conformities & associated costs by category & quantity.
- Collects, reviews & organizes quality documentation from manufacturing facilities & construction sites insuring timely delivery & completeness.
- Contributes, actively, to the organizations Cost of Energy program
- Other duties as assigned.
- Manages and reviews all quality reports submitted to the Quality Department insuring their timely delivery & completeness.
- Provides Quality inspections results periodical reporting to management and Technical Issue International Div.
- Manages and coordinate the non-conformity reports administrated by the Services Quality Team.
- Supports calibration activities.
- Updates the periodical quality department KPI reporting.
- Tracks & organizes all costs associated with non-conformities and work with other departments to obtain applicable cost recovery.
- Contributes, actively contribute to the organizations Cost of Energy program
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements:
- High School diploma required
- Associates Degree in a technical field preferred
- Project Management degree/certification or equivalent, 2yr degree preferred
- 2 years’ work experience
- Ability to interact seamlessly with multiple different functional departments within the organization
- Computer skills to include MS Office
- Demonstrated ability to organize / prioritize work, to meet deadlines and to prepare plans and reports
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Qualified applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization for employment in the United States now or in the future
- Basic understanding of mechanical and elect
