About the role

Quality Control Supervisor will ensure consistency across the portfolio in service and production. Analyze and report findings obtained from QR readers, and ABM SITE inspection tools. Provide ongoing training of all sites on ABM procedures, updates platform. Responsible for those client facilities and personnel under his / her supervision to ensure that the Company is providing professional and quality service and to ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and compliance standards established by the Company, by our Clients, and by regulatory authorities.  Employee is also responsible for ensuring that the planned profitability of responsible accounts is realized. This Quality Control Supervisor will oversee approximately 70 buildings in a university setting with about 9 million square feet for custodial services. 

 

Specific Duties / Essential Job Functions:  (Other duties may be assigned.) 

  • Conduct Quality Control Inspections 
  • Oversee and ensure Compliance Audits 
  • Interact with client on the Client Satisfaction Feedback and any Validated Client Complaints 
  • Maintain Inspection Reports from ABM’s SITE system. 
  • Provide client with Key Performance Indicators as per contractually agreed upon. 
  • Compile and present client with Quality Assurance reports and updates 
  • Communicate effectively with employees and clients to ensure fulfillment of performance and quality requirements. 
  • Maintain positive relationship with client representatives. 
  • Monitor compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements in area of responsibility. 
  • Ensure that any injuries, incidents, accidents, etc. are documented, reported, and processed appropriately.   
  • Monitor safety program within area of responsibility and communicate with Safety Quality Managers on a frequent basis to ensure compliance with all Company safety standards.  
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned. 

 

Education: 

  • Associate degree or higher preferred or equivalent work experience 

Minimum Skills / Experience: 

  • 3 or more years supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills 
  • Budgeting, expense control and scheduling experience 
  • Ability to interact with all levels of organizations
  • Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills.
  • High energy level and enthusiastic 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Comfortable with having flexible hours. 
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills 
  • Ability to work in a team environment. 
  • Sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines; self-directed. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information. 
  • Ability to handle multi-faceted jobs with completing normal duties. 
  • Must be 18 years or older. 
  • Excellent communication skills required both verbal and written. 
  • Must be proficient with computer software, mainly Microsoft Office. 
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented and adopt a structured working method but with the ability to react quickly to change. 
  • Must be flexible to work outside of normal business hours occasionally. 
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
