Quality Control Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ensures program compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor and provide effective performance feedback to team members through recognition, coaching, and disciplinary action with the assistance of the group HR Business Partner.
• Provide proper flow of communication from upper management to team members and vice versa.
• Safeguard and maintain all Government and Company’s properties, as well as provide for the safety and well-being of all personnel.
• Develop plans to prevent, control, or address environmental problems.
• Provide information and guidance to the client on environmental hazards and health risks.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement safety procedures and regulations to minimize the risk of accidents
• Investigate accidents and illnesses, and develop measures to prevent them from happening again
• ·Maintains safety records, including accident reports, training logs, and Activity Hazard Reports.

EDUCATION/TRAINING

• Bachelor of Science degree
• 5 years of relevant experience (or combination of education and experience).
• Certification in hoisting and rigging operations, and/or operating heavy equipment, and a certification in Applied Health Physics (CHP) is strongly preferred.
• OSHA 40-HR HAZWOPER & 8-Hr. Supervisor.
• Must be able to pass HAZWOPER physical and respirator fit test.
• First Aid/CPR/AED.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and potentially austere environments.
• Regularly exposed to industrial/ construction, environments involving equipment, electrical or mechanical hazards, elevated work areas, confined spaces, dust, hazardous materials, and odors
• Potential exposure to continuous loud noise produced by machinery and/or equipment

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid State driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
• Must complete all mandated training requirements per government and management directives.
• Must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) per contract.
• Must be a legal U.S. Resident per contract.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in the English Language per contract.
