About the Role: As a QC & Receiving associate, you are responsible for overseeing and assisting in the day to day QC and receiving operations. You will inspect incoming product, ensuring it meets the company's standards for quality before receiving. Continually inspect product quality throughout the product life. You will also assist in any required paperwork for product rejections, replacements or receiving into the warehouse inventory systems. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the QC supervisor to ensure incoming products meet the company’s specifications and quality guidelines.
  • Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
  • Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with leadership to rectify damages and shortages. 
  • Receives and processes defective products returned for replacement or credit.
  • Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a cold environment
  • Experience in the fresh produce/food industry 
  • Computer literate (willingness and ability to learn: Dashboards, Google Documents, Spreadsheets, & Delivery Business Pro)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Energetic and excited about Imperfect 
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Excels at independent, unsupervised work 
  • Forklift certified, a plus

Details of Position:

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • This position is based out of our local warehouse in Clackamas
  • Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 6:00 am-2:30 pm
  • Pay rate is $19.50/hour + quarterly bonuses
  • This position reports to the Warehouse and Inventory Manager

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, bend, squat, climb, reach, and kneel
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • Sedentary work; involves sitting most of the time
  • Occasional movement around the office may be necessary
  • Standing desks and/or other ergonomic accommodation is available upon request
  • Regular work with computers, including keyboards, mouses, and screens
  • Regular use of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets
  • Able to work in cold temperatures in a refrigerated environment
