This is a full-time on-site position located in Woodland, WA. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, 7 paid holidays (after 90 days of service), and generous PTO accruals from day one!  

Requirements

Quality Control and Production

• Perform routine process checks throughout the production process, ensuring that product integrity meets specification

• Inspect, test, and record Raw Materials, Work In Process (WIP), and Finished Goods

• Report deviations from Safe Quality Food (SQF), Food Safety, and Product Specification requirements immediately to Supervisor

• Place non-conforming material on Hold (Red Tag) for further analysis 

• Verify incoming Certificate of Analysis against completed testing for accuracy

• Generate outgoing Certificates of Analysis for customers

• Maintain and assist with the development or improvement of Quality Department procedures

• Maintain and organize retention samples

• Practice good recordkeeping of all tests and analyses performed

• Cover for other quality team members in times of absence


Regulatory/Food Safety and Compliance

• Collect and send samples for microbiological testing as needed

• Maintain Calibration Program for equipment

• Monitor GMPs, sanitation, and food safety issues 

• Active monitoring and verification of Crititcal Control Points relative to HACCP Plans


Process Improvement

• Ongoing evaluation for all product specifications

• Communicate problems to Supervisor 

• Recommend process change for reoccurring non-conformances

• Recommend improvement in the measuring, tracking, and feedback systems utilized
