QC Technician (Temporary/Agency)

We are looking for a QC Technician to fill a Temporary position at our Fremont site. This onsite position will be Full Time (40 hours/week), but will be payrolled through Eastridge Workforce Solutions.
About the position:
This position will work closely with our Scientists and Engineers on E Ink display modules performing performance characterization, display electro-optical measurement, display reliability tests and other QC tests. As part of an innovative research team, this candidate must be flexible, have the ability to multitask, as well as deliver accurate and consistent feedback in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform non-electrical optical tests upon request
- Continue to learn and handle new test methods, using new equipment
- Practice good record keeping
- Create research samples
- Bring up test issues, sample issues, equipment issues, and commit to efficiency improvement
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or associate’s degree required
- Strong Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is a must
- Experience using lab equipment, especially optical equipment and electrical equipment
- Experience working with high tech companies is a plus
- Good verbal communication skills, quick learner, attention to details and good hands-on skills
- Familiar with lab safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $20-$30 for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
