Job Description:
About the Role:
The QA Technician is directly responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety policies, quality assurance practices, and rabbinical supervision standards for the Ogden bakery. You will add value by doing the following including but not limited to:
Develop and maintain Quality Assurance and Sanitation programs to minimize risk from regulatory agencies
Establish and manage raw material inspection procedures and analyze specifications to ensure consistent, unadulterated products
Implement and oversee kosher certification systems to ensure ingredient compliance with rabbinical requirements
Establish operating and capital budgets for sanitation and quality functions
Develop and maintain HACCP and SPC systems, including targeted quality check ranges
Review quality reports, address hold/scrap issues, and ensure allergen clean‑ups and labeling accuracy
Coordinate audits, conduct facility walk‑throughs, and address food safety and quality issues with production teams
Ensure compliance with food safety, food quality, and food defense standards; perform other duties as assigned
Important Details:
- This is a full-time permanent role on 3rd shift, which operates from a rotating schedule.
- Pay starting at $27.97/Hr.
About You:
