ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:
Conducts sampling, product testing and visual inspection of molded components, identifying molding defects and non-conformances.
Must be familiar with and understand Molding inspection procedures and standards. Regularly monitor product for acceptable quality to the latest product specifications/procedures.
Completes accurate documentation of all inspection/testing data and maintains an easily retrievable filing system.
Assists with studies and validations.
Conducts device history, procedural and product audits, as directed by Quality Management.
Monitors product and/or process trends at discretion of QA Management.
Assists with root cause analysis activities.
Reads and interprets sampling plans to determine sample size and/or accept/reject criteria.
Issues product holds and pallet identification tickets.
Observance of all safety and environmental procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Conducts special sampling and product testing, as required.
Collects product/process data for FWO’s, special projects, validations, etc., as required.
Completes other duties as assigned by QA Management.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITES
Other responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Complies with all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies/procedures.
Complies with all local BD quality policies/procedures/practices through consistent application of sound Quality Assurance principles.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Observes all safety, environmental and quality system standards.

Reports directly to Quality Engineer Process Leader.
