The QA Leader/SQF Practitioner is a key player in the Portco team! 

Requirements

• Evaluate, audit, maintain, and monitor all site programs, procedures, practices, and policies that ensure safe practices, SQF (Safe Quality Food) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards;
• Training of quality and SQF and GMP standards;
• Ensure accurate record keeping related to local, state, federal, and SQF requirements;
• Manage Red Tag (Hold and Release) Program;
• Manage Master Sanitation, Chemical Control, and Recall Programs;
• Maintain the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans;
• Oversight of food safety validation and verification for site's Product Development and Realization Program;
• Job approval and quality checks during production for client requirements and SOP;

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively;
• Ability to effectively manage, motivate, and train employees;
• Proficient math skills;
• Able to detect minute visual differences (color, etc.);
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines;
• Ability to be detail orientated;
• Understand and use basic office equipment and programs;
• Strong organizational skills;
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures.
