Key Accountabilities

• Audit product manufacture from raw materials to finished product to ensure product specification is being adhered to.
• Carry out GMP and foreign body audits against defined criteria and reporting results to area team leaders and managers.
• Ensuring routine checks carried out by QA operatives are completed on time and in full.
• Carry out routine start up checks at the beginning of the day or shut down the test kitchen at night.
• Placing non-conforming product on hold and reporting it through the correct channels.
• Logging incidents accurately – investigating incidents to allow root cause analysis by management team.
• Ensuring lines are fit to run product and reporting food safety, hygiene and GMP issues through the correct channels.

Skills and Experience Required

• Knowledge of Factory systems, processes, products.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• Ability to accept and learn from constructive criticism.
• Technology competent; use desktop and hand-held devices with Microsoft and other 3 rd. party software.
