Description:

The Quality Assurance Analyst I is responsible for delivering well tested applications to our clients and providing essential feedback to the software development team.

Our QA team plays a pivotal role in ensuring we deliver high quality applications on time with seamless functionality that enhances and elevates the customer experience.

What You'll Do: 

• Conducts software testing of applications for defects and proper customer driven functionality, and ensuring security and stability of our applications
• Creates and reviews software functionality and validation test steps 
• Creates and executes manual test cases, plus the option of writing next Gen AI enabled test cases
• Provides Quality Assurance and proposes required enhancements to the software development lifecycle
• Identifies risks and issues proactively and drives creative solutions 
• Participates in business requirement and functional specification reviews
• Reviews Azure DevOps documentation to ensure accuracy with delivered features and fixes
• Ensures QA Dashboard is accurate and up to date at all times
• Completes Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of production defects 
• Updates TestRail regression suite for new features and customer workflows
• Becomes acting Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one product 
• Contributes to Release Retrospectives and Hotfix Recaps as required 
• Offers technical support by investigating and responding to customer feedback regarding quality 
• Collaborates or completes assigned customer tickets as required
• Travel to orientation, industry or company events, or other onsite meetings as required
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in a technical area such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Familiarity of the software development lifecycle, preferably with understanding or exposure to agile/scrum methodologies
• Familiarity or exposure to Azure DevOps, SQL and relational DBs
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Effective problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills 
• Ability to simplify complex concepts in clear, and understandable terms for all audiences
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to serve as a functional subject matter expert for ImageTrend products and associated applications 
• Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
• Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills
• Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration and team orientation
• Ability to travel, up to 10%
