The Role:

We are looking for a QA Analyst to join our Boca Raton team. Together we’ll be working in a highly distributed, Linux-based environment that leverages the best of open source technologies, cloud computing, and our proprietary distributed search and computing platform. You’ll use your testing, scripting and automation expertise to lead the team that designs, develops, executes and maintains manual and automation test suites for red violet’s web application products and services.

What You Will Do:

• Create and Maintain Application Testing plans for a varied product suite (web, mobile, API, batch) and for several internally facing pipelines (data builds, search).
• Join a team of nine QA Analysts to provide technical leadership in addition to project management.
• Work closely with our QA Manager, Developers, and project managers to plan, track, and report on testing strategy, coverage and progress.
• Define Test Strategies and Test Plans as well as write detailed test cases.
• Coordinate Test Activities with the Application Development team.
• Design, Collect and Distribute Quality Metrics with Development team and Stake holders.
• Test applications integrated with other third-party systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Strong QA Experience with Good Knowledge of both Manual and Automated QA Life Cycles.
• Experience testing both rest API, web UI, and Mobile applications.
• Experience creating testing solutions for dynamic products due to inherent variance in underlying data.
• Knowledge of JSON.
• Excellent oral, written communication, and collaboration skills.
• BA/BS degree in CS, Engineering, etc. or equivalent experience.
• Curious, methodical, and attention to detail. 
• Able to quickly learn new applications, technologies.
• Multitask and prioritize projects as the need arises.
• Experience in Python, Selenium, XML, and HTM, SQL, Linux, AWS and/or Jira a plus.
