Public Relations (PR) Director

TAL engineering is looking for an experienced and strategic Public Relations (PR) Director to join our team. As a PR Director, you will be responsible for planning and implementing effective public relations strategies to enhance our brand image and reputation. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including executives and the marketing team, to develop messaging and communications that align with our business goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public relations, excellent communication skills, and a strong network of media contacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic public relations plans that align with our brand and business goals
• Create compelling messaging and storytelling to enhance brand awareness and reputation
• Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers to secure media coverage
• Proactively monitor and manage media relations, including responding to media inquiries and managing crisis communications
• Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate PR efforts into broader marketing campaigns and initiatives
• Track and measure the effectiveness of PR efforts and develop reports for key stakeholders
• Stay informed of industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in public relations, with a track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and impactful messaging
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective PR strategies
• Experience in crisis management and managing media relations during high-pressure situations
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience in the engineering or technology industry is a plus
