Position Description
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders (TBBC) are an elite group that provide show stopping entertainment at games, special events, community appearances and school visits including performing dance routines, interacting with and greeting fans, taking photographs and signing autographs.


Essential Functions
• Perform choreographed routines and acrobatics at home games as an integral part of the Buccaneers fan experience and stadium entertainment
• Serve as a brand ambassador for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
• Assist with gameday sponsor activations
• Engage with fans to create a fun and energetic atmosphere throughout the game/event
• Assist with Junior Cheer training and clinics
• Participate in TBBC photo shoots
• Other duties as assigned to enhance the overall game day entertainment and event experience as deemed necessary or as directed by the Senior Cheerleader Manager


Skills & Abilities
• Ability to quickly learn and master advanced choreography in a variety of dance styles
• Excellent communication, public speaking and interpersonal skills
• Excellent in entertaining, communicating, engaging, and interacting with crowds and individuals
• Highly motivated and determined self-starter who demonstrates confidence, passion, a lively and outgoing personality, charisma, a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Impeccable time management skills and punctuality
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with and interact with all levels of the organization and outside contacts
• Able to work all home games and team practices and agreed upon promotional appearances and events
• Flexible and capable in the ability to lead and be led
• Responsive to feedback and constructive criticism
• Strong team player, ability to work in a high-performing team environment, contributing positive progress and growth toward common goals
• Knowledge of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the NFL, and basic Football knowledge


Experience & Education
• 5 or more years of experience in cheerleading, gymnastics, partner stunting, or related athletic disciplines preferred
• Background in coed stunting, tumbling, or acrobatics is highly desirable
• Versatility across multiple performance styles (e.g., traditional cheer, all-star, collegiate, or competitive stunting) is a plus

Physical Fitness Standards
• Must have the ability to meet the demands of the position, which include dancing advanced choreographed routines at peak performance level for up to 4 hours per performance
• Must be able to perform acrobatics


Work Environment
• The Company is a professional, fast paced, creative business environment. Other environment conditions:
• Must be able to work flexible hours for Game Days and Events (including weekends, nights and holidays)
• Required to attend scheduled team practices, home games, promotions and performances
• Physical Demands: HIGH; this position calls for a great deal of physical exertion and exposure to temperature/humidity extremes for prolonged periods and includes but not limited to dancing, running, jumping, acrobatics and standing for prolonged periods
• May require frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 25 pounds
• Possible local and international travel with the team for NFL games and International Series
• Requires travel around the Tampa Bay area and beyond
