Psychologist- Pediatric DevelopmentalThe Department of Pediatrics at The University of Kansas Health System is seeking applications for a Developmental Psychologist. This individual will be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of young children with developmental disabilities including autism health disorders, spectrum disorder and possibly other childhood mental health disorders.
This role includes teaching graduate-level learners from various disciplines, including medical students and pediatric residents, within a clinical setting. Participation in interdisciplinary team diagnostic evaluations is also required.
Candidates must have training, experience, and expertise in conducting diagnostic evaluations and behavior therapy for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or childhood mental health disorders. They should have previous experience participating in interdisciplinary team diagnostic evaluations and experience collaborating with families of children with disabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements include PhD
- Licensure as a Psychologist (LP)
- Must hold a current license from Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB)
- Experience with research and teaching at a medical institution in the Development Pediatrics field
