IU Health Medical Group has a great opportunity available for a Provider Employment Development Consultant to join their team at their Fort Wayne, Indiana location.
This position will be a full-time day shift role working Monday-Friday.
The Provider Employment Development Consultant serves as the lead in coordinating the regional Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers onboarding and engagement training. This Consultant collaborates with, develops new and maintains existing relationships with internal and external recruitment resources to attract and acquire quality candidates and ensures candidates are assessed and scheduled for virtual and onsite interviews with stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner. This Consultant also ensures itineraries are complete with appropriate stakeholders and works with candidates to ensure appropriate travel arrangements are complete.
The Consultant in this role works directly with Practice Operations Leadership, Human Resources, and the Legal Department to manage and execute employment offer and agreement process. This Consultant will also be responsible for tracking progress for all candidates in process and works directly with practice operations, credentialing, and enrollment to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process. Regular touchpoints with candidates from interview until final employment selection is completed will be a priority.
This Consultant will act as a resource for our Physicians and our Advanced Practice Providers for regional amenities and points of interest to assist candidates and their families to connect with the community. The Consultant will also ensure that IU Health maintains a positive relationship with key partners and that the partnership continues to bring value to the organizations involved.
Key Elements
The Consultant in this role serves as a project manager for approved partnership opportunities. Gathers and analyzes key market and business data to assess and maintain competitive recruitment and employment strategies. Communicates with stakeholders to assist in informing recommendations and to identify barriers. Supports industry or market outreach to help shape opportunity development and acts as the liaison between departments.
Ideal Skills
Experience in high level strategic partnerships and planning
Preferred client relationship management experience
Prior experience working within a healthcare organization
Past experience working directly with providers preferred
Exceptional communication skills desired
