JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Are you passionate about real estate and eager to gain hands-on experience in leasing? The Onsite Summer Internship offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of multifamily real estate. Over the course of 10 weeks, you'll work alongside industry professionals, learning the ins and outs of property management, customer service, and sales.Intern program dates: June 2nd - August 8th.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a leasing intern, you'll participate in a variety of activities designed to enhance your skills and knowledge, including:
Working with the onsite team to perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and ensuring smooth move-ins and lease signings.
Learning the move-in and move-out process and coordinating with maintenance for any outstanding issues.
Collaborating with onsite team and helping to design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, and using property management software to track availability and manage data.
Ensures community and show units meet company standards, follows up with prospects and new residents, and supports the lease renewal program.
Responding promptly to residents.
In addition to daily work experience, you'll benefit from intern events, workshops, and networking opportunities that will help you build valuable connections and gain insights into the real estate industry. By the end of the program, you'll have a comprehensive understanding of the leasing process and be well-prepared for a successful career in real estate.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in property management, hospitality, or sales
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Detail-oriented and organized
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Required Licenses or Certifications: Must have all required licenses and certifications as per State and Local jurisdictions and a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
